Amina Tafra brings 25 years of training and experience performing various dance styles including African, Ballet, Contemporary, and Street Jazz. Currently focusing on Aerial Arts (Hammock, Lyra, Pole, Silks) she holds a B.A. in Dance, M.S. in Dance/Movement Therapy, and post-graduate instructor certification in aerial dance/fitness. Amina is a member of the Holistic Chamber of Commerce and the American Dance Therapy Association.

Amina provides individual and group therapy sessions for female youth survivors of sexual trauma including sex-trafficking in Kenya, Africa through the non-profit organization, Art and Abolition. Co-facilitating Creative Arts Therapy Camps helps the survivors process their trauma in an artistic, safe and effective way.
